I have two envelopes with addresses on them, stamped and ready to go.
One is a sympathy card for a family of someone who has just passed away.
One is an RSVP for a wedding celebration.
Life is full of surprises: the sympathy card honors the memory of someone who was only in his early twenties. And the wedding RSVP? The couple is in their seventies.
Also: today is the birthday of a dear, dear friend, who often comments on this blog, the friend sometimes known as Lozza. I hope today brings you cake, presents, love and sunshine. In that order.
AND: I got my camera back. So for Thursday's regularly scheduled post, expect pictures!

I'm a 27 year old Canadian woman. I grew up on Cape Breton Island, although my parents and their families are from Quebec and Ohio. Currently I live in Cape Breton, in a small town by the Bras D'Or Lake.
I can make a good soup and tie my own shoes. I've worked as a nanny, a potter's assistant, a shop clerk, and a janitor. I've also worked in a library, and taught computers to seniors. I've travelled to Australia and New Zealand and across Canada by train. I spent two and a half years in university before I left. I like the way the air smells in the Fall.
