when life gives you raindrops
Finally, a reason to be excited about all this rain!
A citizens' rainfall network! Buy a rain gauge for 8$ at the hardware store. Put it in the ground as far from trees as possible. Each day, read the measurement, then dump out the water. Email your results to Bill Danielson. Feel like both a Real Scientist, and an Active Citizen.
It's part of an exhibit happening this summer at the North Highlands Community Museum, called "Cape Breton Weather, Cape Breton Lives." If you live in Cape Breton and want to take part, email Bill - downspill@gmail.com.
