Elections and veggies and projects, oh my!
But in the midst of it all, here is the promised photo of Pollett's Cove. Keep in mind when looking at this photo that this scene comes into view after having hiked 2 and 1/2 arduous hours; uphill, then downhill, then uphill again, over and over. Also keep in mind that the beach is a kilometer long! It looks small when there are no people or houses to show perspective, but when you're there in real life, you know just how big, just how majestic this scene is.
It's funny how pictures of views and hikes never do the reality justice. Actually being there, with the smells and sounds and the feeling of the air on your skin, is better than a picture could ever be. Yet we take pictures anyway, if we're able.
